Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiative

From concept to print


Originally asked for a few signs to advertise DEI at the Annual Conference & Expo, our team at the National Association of REALTORS® took the opportunity to expand this initiative and create a campaign.

I worked with the Creative Director to highlight two main ideas in the design:

  1. negative space — to emphasize the presence of DEI in everything, and

  2. airport flip signs - to suggest the kinetic nature of this critical initiative.

I removed the letters d, e, and i from common industry terms such as “Advancement”, “Strategy”, and “Action”. This way, I invite viewers to engage with the campaign by solving the puzzle for themselves.

Six 38”x87” standing signs debuted at our annual conference in San Diego.
